A young patient came to us with persistent pain in a lower right back tooth. On examination, the tooth was salvageable — so rather than remove it, we focused on saving his natural tooth. We performed a laser-assisted root canal, using laser technology to help thoroughly clean and disinfect the canals for a comfortable, precise result, and relieved the pain at its source. To protect and rebuild the tooth for the long term, it was then restored with a strong, natural-looking zirconia crown — metal-free, tooth-coloured and shade-matched to blend with his other teeth. The result: his own tooth saved, the pain resolved, and a restoration built to handle years of normal biting and chewing. (Individual results vary; every tooth is assessed individually before treatment.)
